Beware! The Danger is in Your Drink!

They’ll get her drunk, they’ll get her alone, they’ll get her. Drunk sex is consider date rape. When drinking people need to take responsibility and know the difference between drunk sex and sex. One night for you could be a lifetime of pain for someone else morning. Date rape is like being sexually assaulted. Every 2 minutes someone in the U.S gets assaulted and each year about 213,000 victims. About 14.8% completed rape; 2.8% attempted rape. Date rape drugs are most often given to victims at social occasions, like parties, or in environments where the victim cannot account for the source of their food or drink. Although in some part the victim has fault in being raped without remembering anything, they know the kind of place their heading and also with the people you go.

In this article says, " Three Hamilton girls who were hospitalized following a dance party at a Te Rapa warehouse on Saturday night did not have their drinks spiked like had been claimed, police say. The trio, aged 16 and 17, had reportedly had their drinks spiked with a date rape drug, however tests found they were two and a half to three times the legal adult alcohol limit".  Who knows what happened mean while they were lost because of alcohol and drug usage.
       In this world people cannot be trusted. Not even friends. Your never know whats on there mind. Also be aware of where you go and with what kind of people, because is obvious and you can tell when things are not right. When ever your drinking in a party or any public place keep an eye on your drink at all times to avoid getting something inside your drink. If you cannot take your drink with you for any reason, like to the bathroom or so. Just throw it and when you get of bathroom get a new drink. Make sure you serve it by your own. By friends can’t be trusted I mean that people need to be aware of the kind off things your friends does because a real friend would not pressure you to drink or smoke. Friends can sometimes team up with someone that wants to do something to you and they can be offer something they want in exchange and sometimes those friends can trade you for whatever they being offer by someone that wants to get your friend on their side and plan something versus you. You can tell who your real friends are. Party carefully!

Your Days of Ignorance are Over!

           Although animals are not sentient (self-aware), they are still living, feeling creatures and should therefore not be subjected to preventable suffering. Animals feel pain and are capable of suffering, just like people. Those who commit violent crimes against people often start their criminal career by torturing or neglecting animals. Some acts of cruelty such as dog fighting, are accompanied by illegal gambling and drug dealing. Treating an animal cruelly will often cause him to attack innocent people. A animal is not born bad, humanity and animal cruelty makes them turn bad. Animals are so helpless, they can't scream out in pain or talk to anyone to help them.
           In the news titled as, Chihuahua Killer Faces  posted: May 20, 2011 1:57 AM CDT updated: May 20,2011 2:19AM CDT underlined as Puppy's death could cost con big time under three strikes law says, "A California man accused of fatally slamming his wife's Chihuahua against a wall during a domestic dispute could be sentenced to life in prison, according to authorities, he has four earlier convictions for assault with a deadly weapon, he's in for a particularly harsh sentence this time around if he's convicted under the state's controversial Three Strikes Law for repeat offenders." Four strikes already and now animal cruelty? Hey in my ballpark it's three strikes and you're out, so people take your bat and glove and come with me.
           Animal cruelty don't only happen happen here in Oakland. This is a problem every where. In a news article titled as Man charged with killing pet rabbits posted: May 25,2011 in Florida says, "A central Florida man faces animal cruelty and child abuse charges after authorities say he killed three baby rabbits.A 34-year-old Reginald Owen Sear Jr. got into an argument with his wife Tuesday over who was supposed to feed the family's pet rabbits. Police say Sear took the animals' cardboard box into the bathroom and killed the baby bunnies by twisting them." That is cruel is like killing a baby, animals are like mini humans.
           Most aren't even reported, so there isn't an exact number, just billions. The sad truth is, over 65 billion animals are used, abused, and killed for food, scientific/medical testing, military experimentation, entertainment, clothing, and breeding - as in puppy mills.Domesticated pets and farm animals definitely need greater protection. Not just in the form of punishment. Some people argue that is because animals need discipline but to me hitting on them is not the way. There is other ways of disciplining animals that don't have to do with necessarily hurting them. We need to report when we see someone abusing a innocent animal. There safety is in our hands.

Break The Cycle of Silence!!

           Strength doesn't mean violence. In 1998, Michigan State Police reported more than 5,000 victims of domestic violence in Oakland County up until now in 2011. Domestic Violence is a serious problem. It either occurs because poverty, lack of education, alcohol abuse, and men thinking have the right to discipline their partners.
           In Report: 3 Weekend Deaths Due To Family Violence posted: Monday, February 14,2011 by Stephanie Serna, KSAT 12 News Reporter says, "On Friday, a woman was shot and killed in front of her home on Lost Arrow Street. Police said the woman's ex-boyfriend, Nicholas Maldonado, 25, spent three hours in his car waiting outside for her before he ambushed her. A room mate close to the woman said he would see bruises on her body and that she would cover them with makeup." The community needs to step it up when it comes to prevention by calling police to report and incident or talking to the victim.
           In another article titled Baby found by dead mom's side occurred: May 5,2011 posted: May 20,2011 SAST says, "An 11-month-old baby girl was found holding her dead mother's hand, 10 hours after the child's father allegedly beat her to death. In the first of two fatal attacks on women in the Johannesburg area this week- allegedly by their jealous former lovers - Liesel Badenhorst's head was smashed against the rim of her bath, cracking it. Her brother in law, Pieter Bester, found her little daughter at 5am on Saturday Morning, she did not cry. The baby was just standing there, clutching her mother's hand. The room and child's clothes were covered in blood."
          If some men looses his job and woman don't, men would loose his control in the home, causing them to start being violent towards their partner either because of stress or jealousy but certainly that isn't a excuse to committ domestic violence. A men said that men meet a woman and spend a fortune on her and by the time starts working she starts telling you how pathetic they are and she starts showing him they are nothing and by that time you are up to your neck in debts she caused and she's up and leave, men starts hitting on girlfriend or wife because of that and forces them to stay and that's when domestic violence starts but how much a men do for a woman, how much money they spend on her, if the love is over is over, men just needs to pack up and go, what gives them the right to take her life and bear in mind that all you did for her was out of love so if she failed to return your love then maybe it wasn't meant to be. Theirs no justification of such act.
            A crime is a crime regardless. People we need to do something about it. People should pay attention to this subject, it's very important because is about life. We can be in that situation as well and people should be aware of how sad this is. We need to help people we know that are in that situation.
